I am running for Marion County Coroner in 2024 to complete the work that I have started. I want to continue to advocate for the decedents by determining the cause and manner of death, assisting in the public safety and criminal justice process, and to console families as they grieve the loss of their loved ones.

Beyond her role as Chief Deputy Coroner, Alfie actively engages with the community. She serves on the board of directors for Overdose Lifeline, Mental Health America, Indianapolis, and the International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners. Alfie's commitment to mental health and family advocacy and overdose prevention reflects her holistic approach to community well-being. Her commitment to community has earned her awards for her dedication. Most notably, she was awarded the 2021-2022 Citizen of the Year award from the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Phi Chapter, for her unique contributions to humanity and for her outstanding contributions to the welfare of mankind.
